Water Sample Testing
The Broad River Water Authority’s Treatment Plant located at 1661 Baber Road is certified to perform Total and Fecal Coliform tests for fecal bacteria. For community water systems, the fee is $50. For private wells, the fee is $40. The fee for multiple samples is $25.
Sample bottles are available at the office (112 N Main St, Rutherfordton) or at the Treatment Plant. Samples should be dropped off between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday.
